The 2024 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) was hosted at PACIFICO Yokohama, Japan. As a member of the demo team for the ICRA Expo, I had the opportunity to witness firsthand how ICRA brings together robotics researchers, students, and industry professionals from around the world. The event serves as a platform to showcase cutting-edge advancements, exchange ideas, and foster meaningful collaboration. In this talk, I will discuss some interesting papers that are closely aligned with our field of work, focusing on two key areas: 1. Algorithms designed for efficient deployment on compute-constrained drone hardware. 2. Enhancing safety in robotics.
