DESCRIPTION

The 2024 IEEE Microwaves, Antennas and Propagation Conference (MAPCON 2024) was held from December 09 – 13, 2024, in Hyderabad, India. The conference covered a wide range of topics, from antennas and propagation to RF and microwave circuits and systems. In this session, I will share a few highlights from keynote talks and paper presentations, including topics such as the EM bridge for deployable antenna arrays and the shared aperture monopulse antenna array.

Insights from APEMC 2025: Advances in Electromagnetic Compatibility & Shielding Materials

DESCRIPTION

The 2025 Asia-Pacific International Symposium and Exhibition on Electromagnetic Compatibility (APEMC), held in Taipei, Taiwan from 19–23 May 2025, provided a valuable platform to explore recent developments and emerging trends in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). While the symposium broadly covered topics such as computational electromagnetics, antennas, EMC measurements and instrumentation, as well as nanotechnology and advanced materials, I focused on sessions most relevant to our research, particularly those involving nanotechnology and advanced materials, along with EMC measurement and simulation techniques. The keynote sessions offered insightful perspectives on the future of heterogeneous integration and advanced modelling approaches. Several other technical papers presented relevant findings that can provide additional insights to support our ongoing work in advanced materials for EMI shielding applications.
