Swarm Autonomy are algorithms and solutions that enable drones to operate autonomously individually and in groups. The Swarm Autonomy Group consists of members from Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Computer Engineering and Mathematics, Computer Science. We focus on solving real world problems and early transition of new and novel research results into actual applications.
Faults in safety-critical systems will often cause undesired reactions and consequences that could damage the system, personnel or the environment. Fault tolerance enables a system to continue its intended operation, possibly at a reduced level, rather than failing completely, when some part of the system fails. Our group conducts research on fault tolerant control and health monitoring/prognosis technique to improve UAV system reliability, maintainability and survivability.
We are seeking for persons able to offer the following services for short terms (2 to 12 weeks) on an ad hoc basis. The successful candidates will be contracted for the services either by man-days utilized or by deliverables.
